These lighthouses are deeply embedded in the collective and cellular memory, and also in the national psyche through art and literature. They live in our subconscious, and permeate our daily lives with their slow pulsing lights and calming sound of their foghorns. Our goal is to reconnect our community to its maritime past and rekindle the past in our seafaring heritage.
